Helen Tayler Podiatrist Hunter Foot Clinic

Helen Tayler, opened the Hunter Foot Clinic in Adamstown in 2011. As a local business owner, who grew up in Adamstown, she is renowned for her caring and compassionate service. Helen has a Bachelor of Podiatry, from the University of Newcastle, holds a Master of Business Administration and is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association.

Helen, has worked tirelessly to ensure an excellent community based general podiatry service, that remedies a broad range of foot ailments and lower limb pain, including heel pain. Helen has a special interest in diabetic patients utilising evidence based practice and the latest diagnositc equipment. She is also an expert on othotic care and the fitting of medical grade footwear. Helen works with her patients to share her expertise and knowledge, to ensure their ongoing health, regardless of age or fitness level.


Jackie Sterling Hunter Foot Clinic Podiatrist

Jackie Sterling joined The Hunter Foot Clinic in 2016 and has more than 4 years podiatry experience. She has a Bachelor of Podiatry, from the University of Newcastle. Jackie has extensive expertise gained from a varied career in health care as a Registered Nurse and also as a Workplace Health and Safety Professional. Jackie is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and also a member of the Australian Podiatry Association and Diabetes Australia.

Jackie has a holistic approach to your foot care needs.  Her key areas of interest are : diabetic care, care of the aged, in-grown toenail management. She has a strong focus on empowering patients with the relevant knowledge to get the best outcomes. Jackie is passionate about her clients and delivering the highest level of professional care in the Adamstown clinic.


Jamie Pritchard Hunter Foot Clinic Podiatrist

Jamie has worked as a podiatrist since graduating from Newcastle University in 2015. She joined The Hunter Foot Clinic in 2016 and is proving to be a valuable member of the team.

Jamie is enthusiastic and extremely proficient in all aspects of podiatry. She enjoys working with people of all ages and has a special interest in biomechanics. Jamie uses evidence based research and clinical practice whilst endeavouring to eliminate discomfort associated with the large range of pathologies which affect the lower limb and foot. In consultation with her patients she creates treatment plans which are both practical and successful. Jamie also has an interest in Diabetes management and in using appropriate technology to ensure patients are informed of information regarding their vascular and neurological status. Jamie welcomes the opportunity to participate in team care arrangements and in working with GP's to ensure optimal patient treatment and outcomes.


Ben Peterson Hunter Foot Clinic Podiatrist

Ben completed his Bachelor of Podiatry and Honours research in symptomatic hypermobility at the University of Newcastle. Ben focuses clinically on musculoskeletal and sporting injuries and is passionate about managing lower-limb pain in children.

Ben is currently undertaking his PhD with a research focus on musculoskeletal injuries in runners. When not at work, Ben enjoys running and cycling.




Kate Hanrahan Hunter Foot Clinic Office Manager

Kate Hanrahan has been supporting Helen Tayler since she opened the Hunter Foot Clinic (HFC) in Adamstown. Kate's role has expanded with the growth of the Clinic and she is a key member of the successful HFC team.

As well as running reception, Kate performs a wide range of administrative tasks along with the many, behind the scenes, duties associated with a personalised podiatry service.
